Adjust Server Weight

This procedure describes how to adjust server weight in NLB. By adjusting server weight, you can specify how much workload a member will handle in relation to other members.

To adjust server weight

  1. In the Application Center snap-in, right-click the member on which to adjust server weight, and then on the pop-up menu, click Properties.

The member_name Properties dialog box appears.

  2. Under Select request load, relative to other cluster members, move the slider to the right to increase or to the left to decrease the workload for the member, relative to other members.
