Use the Sender Filtering feature to enable or disable the Sender Filter agent on the local computer and to access the properties pages for the Sender Filter agent.

  • Enable or Disable
    To enable or disable the Sender Filter agent, in the action pane, click Enable or Disable as appropriate.
  • Properties
    To view the current sender filtering configuration and to manage sender filtering, in the action pane, click Properties.

    • Use the General tab to view display-only information about the Sender Filter agent, including whether the agent is enabled.

    • Use the Blocked Senders tab to determine which e-mail senders are blocked.

    • Use the Action tab to determine how Exchange transport servers respond when a blocked sender or domain sends a message. For more information, see Edge Transport > Anti-Spam > Sender Filtering Properties > Action Tab (RTM).
