Manage Clustered Mailbox Server Wizard > Completion Page

Applies to: Exchange Server 2007 SP3, Exchange Server 2007 SP2, Exchange Server 2007 SP1

Use the Manage Clustered Mailbox Server wizard to move, stop, and start a clustered mailbox server (CMS). The Exchange Management Shell can also be used to perform the tasks that are available in this wizard. Although Cluster Administrator and the Cluster.exe command-line tool can move, stop, and start cluster resource groups between nodes, you should not use either of them to manage a CMS. Instead, the preferred way to move, stop, or start a CMS is to use the Manage Clustered Mailbox Server wizard in the Exchange Management Console, or the equivalent cmdlets in the Exchange Management Shell, which are:

  • Move-ClusteredMailboxServer

  • Stop-ClusteredMailboxServer

  • Start-ClusteredMailboxServer

The Completion page indicates whether the management action selected on the Introduction page was completed successfully. A status of Completed indicates that the wizard completed the task successfully. A status of Failed indicates that the task was not completed successfully. If the task failed, review the summary for an explanation, correct any problems, and rerun the task.

The summary pane lists the following fields:

  • Exchange Management Shell command
This field lists the Exchange Management Shell command that was used to perform the selected task. If the task is successful, the text in this field is displayed as Management Shell command completed. If the task fails, the text in this field is displayed as Management Shell command attempted. For more information about the Exchange Management Shell, see Using the Exchange Management Shell.
  • Elapsed Time
This field indicates the time that it took for the wizard to finish the task. If the elapsed time is 00:00:00, this indicates that the task took less than 1 second to finish.

Note

You can press CTRL+C to copy the text in the summary pane to the Clipboard. After the text has been copied to the Clipboard, you can paste it into a document or screen.
