Use the Mailbox Settings page to configure the mailbox settings, such as the alias and the storage location for the mailbox user. You can also assign messaging records management (MRM) and Exchange ActiveSync policies to the mailbox.
Use this page to configure the following mailbox settings.
Use this text box to type the alias of the user. By default, the alias is automatically populated based on the User logon name (User Principal Name) of the user. If the user logon name contains any characters that are not valid for the alias field, they will be replaced by underscore characters (_).
The alias cannot exceed 64 characters and must be unique in the forest.
