How to View System and Hardware Configurations for a Host
You can use the following procedure in Virtual Machine Manager to view the following system and hardware configuration information:
- Processor and memory
- Storage devices
- Floppy drives
- Network adapters
- DVD and CD drives
- Virtual networks configured for the host
To view system and hardware configurations for a host
In Hosts view, navigate to the host group that contains the host, and then, in the results pane, double-click the host.
In the Host Properties dialog box, click the Hardware tab.
To view detailed information about the processor or memory, click the appropriate icon in the left pane. Detailed information about the selected component is displayed in the right pane.
To view detailed information about other system components, in the left pane double-click the category name, and then click a component. Detailed information about the selected component is displayed in the right pane.
Note
All host properties on the Hardware tab are view-only, with the exception of virtual networks, which you can add, configure, or remove by using the Hardware tab. For more information about adding a virtual network, see How to Configure Virtual Networks on a Host.
