How to Remove a Self-Service Policy

The following procedure tells how to remove a self-service policy from a host group. You can do this either by using the Edit Self-Service Policies action or by using the Self-Service tab in Host Group Properties.

To remove a self-service policy

  1. In Hosts view, expand All Hosts in the navigation pane, and then navigate to the host group to which the self-service policy was added.

  2. In the Actions pane, under Host Group, perform either of the following actions:

    • Click Edit self-service policies.
    • Click Properties, and then click the Self-Service tab.
  3. On the Self-Service tab of the Host Properties dialog box, select the self-service policy that you want to remove, and then click Remove.

    Note

Self-service policies that have been added to a parent host group of the current host group are displayed along with the self-service policies for the current host group. For those policies, the policy label identifies the host group that the policy is inherited from. To modify or remove a policy on a parent host group, you must edit the policies on that host group.
