How to Remove a Virtual Machine Template

You can use the following procedure to remove a template from the Virtual Machine Manager (VMM) Administrator Console.

To remove a virtual machine template

  1. In Library view, expand Library Server in the navigation pane, navigate to the VMs and Templates node of a server that contains the template that you want, and then, in the results pane, identify the specific template that you want to delete.

  2. In the results pane, right-click the template that you want to delete, click Remove, and then click Yes to confirm that you want to delete this template.
