Heightened security on-access scanning

Heightened security on-access scanning may be activated to ensure that all files being accessed are scanned if the antivirus engines have been updated after the file was originally stored.
Note
It is recommended that these high security settings be used only in the event of a serious threat that requires constant rescanning of mail to protect users from a known threat requiring this level of protection.
To enable heightened security on-access scanning
- Heightened security on-access scanning is controlled by the General Options setting: Scan on Scanner Update. Following a scanner update, previously scanned files are re-scanned when accessed if this option is enabled.
