Stand-alone installation

All PerformancePoint Monitoring Server components can be installed on a single computer. This is a stand-alone deployment, and it is used primarily for testing, development, and proof of concept for Monitoring Server.
Monitoring Server installation occurs in two steps. First, the PSCSrv.msi file runs and copies all necessary installation files to the hard disk on the local computer. Second, the PerformancePoint Monitoring Server Configuration Manager starts and configures newly copied files to complete the Monitoring Server installation.
