Important

Each enterprise is associated with one or more Configuration Storage servers. Each Configuration Storage server contains identical configuration information, which is periodically replicated. The array members in each array obtain configuration information from a specified Configuration Storage server in the enterprise.
You can connect to a local or a remote Configuration Storage server. If you select a local Configuration Storage server, you must install the Configuration Storage server on this computer.
If you select a remote Configuration Storage server, you must have appropriate permissions to access the server.
You can download the AdamSites.exe tool from the (https://www.microsoft.com/) to configure replication frequency. You can use the ADSI Edit tool to schedule the time of day that replication should occur. For instructions, see "Configure replication frequency within a site" in Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM) Help, on the Configuration Storage server.
For more information about Configuration Storage servers, see Enterprise Management at (https://www.microsoft.com/).
