Publish Database Wizard (Select an Output Location - Database Configuration)

Use this dialog box to provide configuration information for the database that you have selected on the Provider configuration for new provider dialog box. This information will be stored in the hoster,config file.

  • Server name
    Enter the name of the server that is running SQL Server.

  • Database name
    Enter the SQL Server database name.

  • Database authentication
    Enter the SQL Server login, with password, that has permission to publish to the selected database.

  • Save password
    Select to encrypt and save the password to the hoster.config file. By default, passwords are not saved. The encryption type is base64Binary.

  • OK
    Select to save all changes that you have made in this dialog box to the hoster.config file, and return to the Provider configuration for new provider dialog box.

  • Cancel
    Select to undo all changes that you made in this dialog box, and return to the Provider configuration for new provider dialog box.
