STMPointFromWKB (geometry Data Type)
Returns a geometryMultiPoint instance from an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Well-Known Binary (WKB) representation.
Syntax
STMPointFromWKB ( 'WKB_multipoint' ,SRID)
Arguments
WKB_multipoint
Is the WKB representation of the geometryMultiPoint instance you wish to return. WKB_multipoint is a varbinary(max) expression.SRID
Is an int expression representing the spatial reference ID (SRID) of the geometryMultiPoint instance you wish to return.
Return Types
SQL Server return type: geometry
CLR return type: SqlGeometry
OGC type: MultiPoint
Remarks
This method will throw a FormatException if the input is not well-formatted.
