STMPointFromWKB (geography Data Type)
Returns a geography MultiPoint instance from an Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) Well-Known Binary (WKB) representation.
Syntax
STMPointFromWKB ( 'WKB_multipoint' , SRID )
Arguments
WKB_multipoint
Is the WKB representation of the geography MultiPoint instance you wish to return. WKB_multipoint is a varbinary(max) expression.SRID
Is an int expression representing the spatial reference ID (SRID) of the geography MultiPoint instance you wish to return.
Return Types
SQL Server return type: geography
CLR return type: SqlGeography
OGC type: MultiPoint
Remarks
This method throws a FormatException if the input is not well-formatted.
