Requirements for Capacity Planner

System Center Capacity Planner 2007 has the following hardware and software requirements.

Hardware Requirements

The minimum and recommended hardware requirements for System Center Capacity Planner are the following:

  • Intel Pentium or compatible 1-GHz or faster processor

  • 512 MB of RAM

  • 30 MB of available disk space on the drive where you install System Center Capacity Planner

  • CD-ROM drive

  • XGA graphics adapter and monitor

    Note

    Only 16-bit color or higher is supported.

Supported Operating Systems

System Center Capacity Planner is supported on the following operating systems:

  • The Windows Vista Ultimate operating system
  • The Windows Vista Enterprise operating system
  • The Windows Vista Business operating system
  • The Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition operating system with Service Pack 2
  • The Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition operating system with Service Pack 2
  • The Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition operating systems
  • The Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition operating systems
  • The Windows XP Professional operating system with Service Pack 2
  • The Windows XP Professional x64 Edition operating system with Service Pack 2

All localized versions of the operating systems listed are supported except right-to-left language versions.
