Capacity Planning Overview

System Center Capacity Planner 2007 is a software application that is built on Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) capacity planning principles. Capacity Planner is designed to help you evaluate an information technology infrastructure during the planning phase, prior to deployment.

The MOF Process Model identifies the following major development phases to guide you as you plan and deploy your hardware and software infrastructure:

  • Planning the infrastructure
