Installing DPM

Installation of Microsoft® System Center Data Protection Manager (DPM) involves installing Microsoft® Windows Server™ 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1), and then using the DPM Setup wizard to install the DPM application and the DPM prerequisite software. This chapter specifies the system requirements for the DPM server, and provides instructions for installing DPM. The chapter also provides instructions for repairing and uninstalling DPM, and for troubleshooting issues that can arise during DPM installation.
