Job types

The following table provides a list of the possible job types that you may see in the Display pane when you select the Jobs tab.

Description |

Replica creation |
Occurs when an initial replica of a volume selected for protection is being created in DPM. |
Consistency check |
Occurs when the replica in DPM is being checked for consistency with the volume on the file server. |
Synchronization |
Occurs when the replica in DPM is being updated with the changes on the volume on the file server. |
Shadow copy |
Occurs when a shadow copy of the replica is being created in DPM. |
Recovery |
Occurs when data selected to be recovered is in the process of being recovered. |
