Setting Up Reporting in the Windows Servers Base Operating System State Management Pack

By default, the Microsoft Windows Servers Base Operating System Management Pack requires no additional configuration to run reports. However, support for reporting on Windows NT 4.0 computers is limited.

If you are having difficulty gathering data within the reports, verify that dependent rules are enabled.

Enabling Dependent Rules

To collect the data that is used by reports, you must enable the associated processing rules. In the Microsoft Windows Servers Base Operating System Management Pack, these are enabled by default. The following table lists the processing rules that must be enabled for each report. Ensure that the rules are enabled for each version of the operating system.
