Monitoring in Low-Privilege Configuration with the Print Server Management Pack

Monitoring functionality on an agent computer is provided by both the MOM Service (MOMService.exe) and the agent Action Account.

To work properly on monitored computers running Windows Server 2000, the Print Server Management Pack requires that both the agent Action Account and the MOM service account have local Administrator rights on the monitored computer. There is no support for configurations with low-privileged accounts on Windows Server 2000.

Aside from tasks, the Management Pack is supported on computers running Windows Server 2003, using low-privileged accounts. However, you must configure the agent Action Account as described in the Configuring Agent Computers to Run in Low-Privilege Scenarios section.
