Setting Up Reporting in the MBSA Management Pack
By default, the Microsoft MBSA Server Management Pack requires no additional configuration to run reports. However, if you are having difficulty gathering data within the MBSA reports, verify that dependent rules are enabled and that the MBSA server computers are members of the appropriate computer groups.
Enabling Dependent Rules
To collect the data that is used by reports, you must enable the associated rules. In the MBSA Management Pack, these are disabled by default. The following table lists the rules that must be enabled for each report.
Table 6 Rules That Gather Data for Reports

Verifying Computer Group Membership
Reports in this Management Pack require MBSA computers to exist in the following computer groups:
Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Agents
Microsoft Operations Manager 2005 Servers
If reports do not include all known MBSA server computers, ensure that these computers are members of these computer groups.
