Computers running the operating systems and SQL Server versions listed in Table 0.7 are not supported. This list is a summary and might not include last minute changes to the product. For more information, see the release notes, which contain the most current information about SMS.

SNMP Event to Trap Translator

SMS 2003 does not support the SNMP Event to Trap Translator. Note that this feature is natively supported in Windows 2000 and later operating systems.

Note:

  • SMS 2003 does not support managing more than one operating system on a single computer. If there is more than one operating system on a computer, configure the discovery and installation methods that are used, to ensure that the SMS client is installed only on the operating system that must be managed.
