Status System

The SMS status system monitors and reports the overall health of SMS sites and site hierarchies with the following status summaries:

  • Component status (describes the SMS server components status at an SMS site)

  • Site system status (describes the site systems status at an SMS site)

  • Package status (describes software packages and distribution points status at an SMS site)

  • Advertisement status (summary report of clients having received and run an advertisement)

The SMS status system is particularly useful in troubleshooting an SMS site
