After a new proposal is created in Project Web Access, it makes its way through the proposal workflow. Newly submitted proposals are reviewed by proposal reviewers. Accepted proposals are returned to the proposal owner for publishing. Rejected proposals can be changed and then resubmitted for review. The procedures are described in this section.

Task requirements

The following are required to perform the procedures for this task:

  • The Office Project Server 2007 deployment is configured for project proposal functionality. If you intend to use project proposals in an automated manner (workflow-enabled), you must install Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 to use the required workflow component. For more information about using project proposals in an automated manner and the configuration requirements, see the "Plan proposals" section of Create projects.

  • Permissions for each user that will take part in the workflow. Each procedure article (in the list of links below) gives details about what level of access is required to perform the procedure.
