The Groove Data Bridge software is automatically registered as an Windows service during the installation process. However, Groove Data Bridge does not start running as a Windows service automatically. You can set the service for automatic startup as recommended, as described in Customizing the Groove Data Bridge Windows Service in this section, or you can start the service manually as described here.To manually start or stop the Groove Data Bridge service:
Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Services and Applications, click Services. The list of Windows services appears with a Status column that indicates whether each service is started or stopped.
To manually start the Groove Data Bridge service, click Start on the General tab or right-click the Groove Data Bridge service and select Start. Started appears in the Status column for the Data Bridge service.
To stop the server service, click Stop on the General tab or right-click the Groove Data Bridge service and select Stop. Stopped appears in the Status column for the Data Bridge service.
