Description
Updates the Web application pool passwords.
Note
Use the noadmin parameter if the Central Administration application pool is the same account as other Web application pools. The updataccountpassword operation does not update the Web application pool account that is associated with the Central Administration Web site. To do this, use the Updatefarmcredentialsoperation.
Syntax
stsadm -o updateaccountpassword

It also describes the application pool account that you are using as either a built-in service account, such as Network Service, or a configurable ID (for example, Domain\user_name). |
