To start the Groove Data Bridge server, do any of the following:
Click your Groove Data Bridge desktop icon.
Go to Start -->Run, browse to the grooveeis.exe file in the Groove Data Bridge application, and click OK.
Go to the Groove Data Bridge install directory, and from a command line, type: Run grooveeis.exe /cc. This allows you to start the server and open the console (administrative interface). Omit the /cc to start the program without the console.
To close the administrative interface without stopping the Groove Data Bridge server, do the following:
From the server window that you want to close, click the File menu and select Close window.
To stop the Groove Data Bridge server, do any of the following:
From the server machine that you want to shut down, click the File menu in the Groove Data Bridge administrative interface and select Shutdown Server.
If you are running the Groove Data Bridge server as a Windows service, from the server machine that you want to shut down, go to the Windows Services control manager, select the Groove Data Bridge Service, then click the Stop icon (or right-click and select Stop from the drop-down menu).
Go to the Groove Data Bridge install directory, and from a command line, type grooveeis.exe /q.
Note Make sure that the server has shut down completely before trying to restart.
