Removes a user agent, which is typically in the form of a search bot, from the ExemptUserAgent collection.

stsadm -o removeexemptuseragent

   -name <User agent>


Parameter name





The name of a valid user agent, such as the following default values:

  • Crawler

  • Googlebot

  • Microsoft Search

  • MSNbot

  • MSoffice

  • Slurp
