Manage CAL (Device) Dialog Box
Use the Manage CAL dialog box to assign a client access license (CAL) for Windows EBS to a device or to release the CAL so that it can be reassigned.
Note
The CAL assignment options that are available depend on the CAL packs that are installed and the number of CALs that you have assigned to user accounts and to other devices.

Settings

Specifies that the device does not have a CAL. If a CAL was assigned to the device, the CAL is released. |
Standard Edition CAL |
Assigns the device a Standard Edition CAL, which permits access by any user in the domain to the standard network resources such as e-mail, shared folders, and print services. |
Premium Edition CAL |
Assigns the device a Premium Edition CAL, which permits access by any user in the domain to the standard network resources and the Premium Technologies. |
