Create Policy Rules for Accessing the Internet

You can use the Web Access Policy Wizard in Forefront TMG to create policy rules for accessing the Internet. For example, you can deny access to certain Web sites.

Note

You must use an account that is in the Domain Admins group to perform this procedure.

To create a policy rule for accessing the Internet

  1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Windows Essential Business Server, and then click Windows Essential Business Server Administration Console.

  2. Click the Security tab, click Network firewall, and then in the tasks pane, click Create policy rules for accessing the Internet. In Forefront TMG, the Web Access Policy Wizard appears.

  3. Follow the instructions in the Web Access Policy Wizard to add a policy that denies access to a Web site of your choice.
