Understanding Management Pack Operations

Applies To: Operations Manager 2007

The Key Management Service Management Pack takes advantage of the new features in Operations Manager 2007 to deliver better monitoring capabilities with integrated reports logic. To improve security and performance, the data collection algorithm for reports is implemented as a staged integrated data processing and is now scheduled by the Operations Manager server.

The management pack monitors Key Management Service on computers running Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, and Windows Vista.
