Replication of Active Directory Domain Services Data

To install Windows EBS by joining to an existing Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) forest, the existing domain controllers in your environment must be able to replicate AD DS data to Windows EBS.

During installation, the Windows EBS Installation Wizard tests that each of your existing domain controllers can replicate AD DS data to Windows EBS. If a problem is detected, first verify that the domain controller is turned on and connected to the network. Then wait a few minutes, and try the test again. If the existing domain controller is still unable to replicate data to your server for Windows EBS, you must correct the problem to complete the installation of Windows EBS.
