Change e-mail information for a user account

Applies To: Windows Small Business Server 2011 Standard

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To change e-mail information for a user account

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click the Users and Groups tab, and then click Users.

  3. In the list of user accounts, click the user account that you want modify e-mail information for, and then click Edit user account properties.

  4. On the <User Account> Properties page, click the General tab, and then do one or both of the following:

    • To change the first name or last name for the user account, type a new first name or last name.

      Renaming a user account renames only the display name of the user account, not the user's logon name or e-mail address.

    • To change the user's e-mail address, type a new e-mail address.

  5. Click Apply, and then click OK.
