Move the MOM Reporting Server to the Management OU

This section provides information on moving the Microsoft Operations Manager (MOM) reporting server, MOMSQL01, to its destination organizational unit (OU).

Move MOMSQL01 to the Management OU

Move the MOM01 server object in Active Directory directory service to the \Servers\Infrastructure\Management OU using Active Directory Users and Computers on AD01.

Procedure DWR.19: To move MOMSQL01 to the Management OU

  1. Log on to AD01 using an account that is a member of the Domain Administrators group.
  2. On the taskbar, click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
  3. Expand fabrikam.com, and then expand Computers.
  4. Right-click MOMSQL01, and then click Move.
  5. Expand Servers, expand Infrastructure, click Management, and then click OK.
