Disk management

Applies To: Windows SBS 2008

During installation, you can specify where to install server applications and where to store the data folders for these applications. It is recommended that you separate your server applications from your data. To do this, use multiple physical hard disks drives or partition your hard disk drive into multiple drives. After reading this section, if you are unsure of how you want to allocate disk space, it is recommended that you use the default values that are provided during installation. The default values are typical for a small business.
