Enable or disable power management settings in Windows Vista

You must be a network administrator to complete this procedure.

To enable or disable power management settings in Windows Vista

  1. Open the Windows SBS Console.

  2. On the navigation bar, click Network, and then click the Computers tab.

  3. In Computer Tasks, do one of the following:

    • To enable power management settings for client computers that are running Windows Vista, click Enable Power Management in Windows Vista.

Note

If you enable power management settings in Windows Vista, network users cannot access a computer running Windows Vista when it is in Sleep or Hibernate mode. 

  - To disable power management settings for client computers that are running Windows Vista, click **Disable Power Management in Windows Vista**.
