Provision Hosted Exchange

The Microsoft Solution for Hosted Messaging and Collaboration provisioning tools offer automated provisioning of your hosted Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 services, including e-mail, Unified Messaging and Mobility.

Provisioning Engine servers use the Exchange Server 2007 Management Tools to deploy the Exchange Server 2007 Providers and Namespaces. You use the Deployment Tool to install everything under the Hosted Exchange/Exchange Provisioning node. The Deployment Tool initializes the Exchange Server 2007 namespaces as well as configurs security and registry settings.

The Build Hosted Exchange sections in the Deployment Walkthrough section of this documentation provide detailed steps for provisioning and operating Hosted Exchange services.
