Manually start a content deployment job

Before you perform this procedure, confirm that:
- You have read the topic Administer content deployment paths and jobs.
Important
At the minimum, you must be a member of the Farm Administrators SharePoint group to complete this procedure.
Manually start a content deployment job
Use the following procedure to manually start a content deployment job. You can also set a content deployment job to run at regular intervals. For more information on creating and scheduling content deployment jobs, see Create a new content deployment job.
To manually start a content deployment job
On the top navigation bar of the Central Administration Web site, click Operations.
On the Operations page, in the Content Deployment section, click Content deployment paths and jobs.
On the Manage Content Deployment Paths and Jobs page, click Run Now on the menu for the job that you want to start.
The status of the job is reported in the Status column.
