Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard (E-mail)

You can use the Configure E-mail and Internet Connection Wizard to configure Internet and e-mail settings on your server. You can also use the wizard to configure settings for e-mail delivery, Internet e-mail, e-mail schedules, and POP3 mailbox accounts.

  • To forward e-mail to your Internet service provider (ISP) or to use DNS to route e-mail, see E-mail Delivery Method.
  • Your company's e-mail domain name is used in the e-mail address for users who send e-mail to the Internet. For more information, see E-mail Domain Name.
  • You can receive e-mail by using one or both of the following methods:
    • Microsoft Connector for POP3 Mailboxes
    • Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) using Exchange

  • To configure Exchange to send e-mail to and receive e-mail from the Internet, see Internet E-mail.
  • To use a predefined e-mail schedule or to define your own custom schedule, see Mail Schedule.
