Using Server Management

Server Management is a utility that you can use to manage Windows SBS.

  • The Standard Management snap-in in Server Management provides tools for managing Windows SBS. For more information, see Server Management.
  • The Advanced Management snap-in in Server Management provides tools for managing advanced features of Windows SBS. For more information, see Advanced Management.
  • The Computer Management snap-in combines several administration tools that you can use to manage a local or remote computer. For more information, see Computer Management.
  • After you install Windows SBS, you should complete several post-installation tasks. For more information, see Post Installation Tasks.
  • The To Do List in Server Management provides a list of tasks for configuring your server. For more information, see Complete the To Do List.
  • You can configure Windows SBS by using the taskpads that are available in Server Management. For more information, see Using the Server Management Taskpads.
