Attach log files to performance or usage reports

To complete this procedure, you must be logged on as a member of the Domain Admins security group.

  1. Open Server Management.
  2. In the console tree, click Monitoring and Reporting.
  3. In the details pane, click Change Server Status Report Settings.
  4. In the reports list, click the report to which you want to attach a log file, and then click Edit.
  5. On the Content tab, under Log files to send with the report, click the log files you want to attach to the report.
    To attach a log file that does not appear under Log files to send with the report, click Add to browse for the log file.

Notes

  • To open Server Management, click Start, and then click Server Management.
  • Log files can be very large. Take this into consideration when deciding to attach a log file to a server performance or usage report. If the compressed size of log file attachments exceeds 5 megabytes (MB), the attachment will not be sent.
