Manage Security Groups

Using the Manage Security Groups taskpad, you can add and remove security groups and modify the properties of groups.

Task Summary

The following table describes the tasks on the Manage Security Groups taskpad. Some tasks are only available when a security group is selected.

Task Description

Add a Security Group

Starts the Add Security Group Wizard, enabling you to create a new security group and to assign users and other groups as members.

Change Group Properties

Enables you to modify the properties of the selected security group.

Remove Security Group

Permanently removes the selected security group. After this group is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

Manage Distribution Groups

Opens the Manage Distribution Groups taskpad.
