Turn a virtual machine on or off

To turn a virtual machine on or off

  1. Open the Administration Website.
  2. In the navigation pane, click Master Status.
  3. Under Virtual Machine Name, point to the name of the appropriate virtual machine, and then click Turn On or Turn Off.
Turning off a virtual machine is like pulling the plug on a physical computer. All contents stored in memory will be lost if you turn off a virtual machine without first shutting down the guest operating system.
