Configuring Client Computer Settings for Remote Connections, Offline Folders, and E-mail Profiles

After you have connected a client computer to the Windows SBS network, you can configure settings on the server to work with the client computer.

  • If you want to connect remotely to a client computer, configure the client computer by running the Remote Connection Wizard on the server. For more information, see Configuring remote connections.
  • If you want to access files that are stored on the network while you are working offline, configure the use of offline folders. For more information, see Configuring offline folders.
  • E-mail profiles that are used by Outlook 2003 are created for each user, but you can create new profiles for users. For more information, see Creating e-mail profiles.
