Job submission consists of adding the job to the compute cluster job queue. A job can be submitted directly from the Job Properties sheet when it is created, or it can be submitted using a job template file.

Submitting a new job (a job that does not exist in a saved template file) is simply the last step of job creation.

To submit a new job

  1. On the Job Properties sheet, step through the tabs and confirm that all of your job options and tasks are specified as you want them.

  2. On any Job Properties tab, click Submit.

  3. Enter your password when prompted.

To submit a job from a template

  1. Click File, then click Submit Job with Template….

  2. Select the desired template from the list and click OK.

  3. If you want to review your submission, step through the tabs on the Job Properties sheet and confirm that all of your job options and tasks are as you want them.

  4. On any Job Properties tab, click Submit.
