Configuring RMS Proxy Settings

Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2

If a proxy server is used on your network, you must configure RMS to use the proxy server and provide it with a user account that it can use when challenged for credentials by the proxy server.

When you provision an RMS server, you can specify the proxy settings for it. However, you may add or modify the RMS proxy server settings after provisioning by using the Administration Home page.

For more information on changing the RMS proxy settings, see "To Change the RMS Proxy Settings" later in this subject.
