DrmRemote is a Web application that exposes services through Microsoft® .NET Remoting, which is used for communication between the different RMS services. DrmRemote also enables developers to write high-performance applications that use server-to-server communication though the Remoting entry.

DrmRemote runs on the RMS root cluster, as well as on any licensing-only clusters. Its virtual directories correspond to the RMS services for which it exposes .NET Remoting services.
