RMS Publishing Service
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 R2, Windows Server 2003 with SP1, Windows Server 2003 with SP2
The publishing service, which issues publishing licenses, runs on the RMS root cluster, as well as on any licensing-only clusters. Publishing licenses define the policy under which use licenses can be delivered.
The publishing service application file, Publish.asmx, is located in the Licensing virtual directory that is in IIS.
The default access control list on this service is shown in the following table:
