Remove Virtual Server

To remove Virtual Server

To avoid loss of data, you must first stop the Virtual Server service and the Virtual Machine Helper service. In addition, you must shut down all guest operating systems, including those that are in a saved state, before removing Virtual Server. For more information, see Related Topics.
  1. On the host operating system, open Add or Remove Programs.
  2. Select Microsoft Virtual Server 2005, click Remove, and then if prompted to confirm the removal, click Yes.
To perform this procedure, you must be a member of the Administrators group on the local computer, or you must have been delegated the appropriate authority. If the computer is joined to a domain, members of the Domain Admins group might be able to perform this procedure. As a security best practice, consider using Securing Virtual Server to perform this procedure.
