Using Multiple Ports

Windows supports multiple modems on a computer. When you install multiple modems, it is often the case that you want them to be configured identically.
To complete this task, you can perform the following procedures:
Duplicate a modem installation on multiple ports. Use this procedure when you want to install the same make and model of modem on multiple ports.
Copy modem properties to modems on multiple ports. Use this procedure when you have modems already installed, but want to configure two or more of them the same way.
