Notes

  • To perform this procedure, you must be the user who created the calling card.

  • To open a Control Panel item, click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click the appropriate icon.

  • If you use more than one calling card, you can create a different location for each one. Telephony programs typically allow you to change the location before dialing.

  • If you dial digits to access a long distance carrier (a long distance operator), you can use a calling card to specify the dialing sequence. When you create the calling card for a long distance carrier, create a unique location to go with it.

  • See Related Topics for procedures to create calling cards or locations.
